Surviving prolonged abuse left me feeling lost, disconnected, and unable to give or receive love. In 2014, at my lowest point, I attempted to take my life. That moment forced me to confront myself—to sit in the discomfort of who I had become and choose to fight for healing.

Sitting alone with yourself is like being trapped in a liminal space—a threshold between past and future, fear and transformation. My work explores these spaces, using surrealism and gender-neutral figures to invite viewers into their own in-between moments. I believe that growth happens in discomfort, and through my art, I encourage others to face their fears, their pain, and ultimately, their strength.

I paint because visual storytelling is more powerful than words. My work is an open invitation—an offering of connection, resilience, and the possibility of healing.
